Guides

Everything Pinscribe does, and how to set it up, by kind of map. The same guides are inside the plugin, under Pinscribe → Help & guides, and at the foot of each kind of map’s own page.

• Getting started: What Pinscribe makes, the quick start, and every way to put a map on a page.
• Tours: Show a tour as a map of joined-up stops with its itinerary underneath, beside your own tour pages.
• Routes: Drives, bike rides and walks drawn on the map, with places to stay and a live mode for the road.
• Trips: Day-by-day itineraries made from live routes and hotels: sell them with dates and prices, or build one for a traveller.
• Directories: Places you list, with their own pins, opening hours, a store locator and visitor suggestions.
• Blog maps: Turn the places you write about into a map: every post becomes a pin, a card and a place search engines understand.
• Design: Colours, fonts, the map style, its controls and every word visitors see.
• Ads & earning: Ads, paid listings and commission on bookings, and which suits your site.
• Members & reviews: Member accounts, reviews, business owners and your email list.
• Settings, privacy and troubleshooting: Map area, statistics, privacy, speed plugins and what to do if something is not right.
